Cheesy Bacon Brussels
Ingredients:
-
1 pound Brussels sprouts
-
4 tablespoons Olive oil
-
1.25 teaspoons Salt, divided
-
2 ounces Cheddar cheese
-
6 slices Cooked bacon, chopped
-
½ cup Heavy cream
-
½ teaspoon Onion powder
-
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
-
¼ teaspoon Salt
Steps:

-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
-
Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
-
Add olive oil and brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt and cook for approximately 10 minutes until brussels sprouts begin to soften and brown in spots.
-
While brussels sprouts cook mix together the heavy cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and remaining ¼ teaspoon of salt.
-
When the brussels sprouts are ready remove them from the heat and pour the heavy cream mixture over them.
-
Sprinkle with bacon and cheddar cheese over the brussels sprouts.
-
Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted.
BONUS: When I make this, I usually do extra heavy cream, cook diced chicken breast while the brussels are in the oven, and stir into the brussels for a full dinner!
