Baked Ziti

This recipe might be a little tricky, because you need to find a keto/low carb friendly pasta. I personally used Kaizen, and got it off of tiktok shop. You can find it linked in my showcase on MY TIKTOK (click to head there), or you can find another that fits within your macros.

Also, this recipe is a single serving.

Ingredients: 

 
  • 1 serving of dried ziti (check the box for serving size)

  • 1 clove garlic , minced

  • 1/4lb ground beef

  • ½ teaspoon salt , divided

  • â…› teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 cup low sugar Marinara Sauce or tomato sauce

  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese

  • 6 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese , divided

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  1. Follow the direction to make your pasta, drain

  2. Drizzle a bit of olive oil in a pan and saute garlic for about 2 minutes

  3. Add in seasoned ground beef and cook until done, drain

  4. In an oven safe dish, pour a bit of marinara sauce

  5. Add in cooked pasta and spread out

  6. Add in ricotta cheese, red pepper flakes, ground beef, 3 tablespoons of mozzarella, parmesan, and marinara sauce

  7. Stir to combine

  8. Flatten the top and top with remaining mozzarella

  9. Bake on 350 for 15 minutes
