Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb ground beef

  2. 6 slices bacon

  3. 4 tbsp cream cheese

  4. 1/2 onion, chopped

  5. 1/4 cup heavy cream

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 6 dill pickle chips, sliced (You can use more or less, depending on your preference.)

  8. 2 tbsp ketchup (no sugar added)

  9. 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  10. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  11. 1 tsp seasoned salt

  12. 1 tsp black pepper

  13. 8 oz cheddar cheese (or mozzarella, I go between the 2)

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cook the bacon according to the package instructions.

  3. Once the bacon is finished cooking, roughly chop and set aside.

  4. Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium heat and season it evenly with the seasoning salt, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Add the chopped onion and chopped garlic

  5. Begin to brown the meat by breaking it up and crumbling it as you cook.

  6. Once the meat is browned all the way through, drain the meat and return it to the skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Add the cream cheese, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet with the ground beef. Mix everything until combined and heated through.

  8. Remove the ground beef mixture from the heat, and spread evenly into a 8x8 greased baking dish.

  9. Top the meat evenly with the chopped bacon, and the chopped pickles.

  10. In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, heavy cream, and 1 cup of the shredded cheese. Mix together, and then pour evenly over the beef and bacon.

  11. Evenly top the casserole with the remaining cup of shredded cheese.

  12. Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

  13. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes prior to serving.
